East Bay Remodel

Addition and full interior gut remodel for a large existing single-family home. The existing massing is a mix of volumes with various heights lacking hierarchy. Working within the existing footprint, the proposed design attempts to simplify and clarify the composition and create a stronger hierarchy and entry sequence through the use of trellises, parapets, and framed openings.
