South Bay addition & remodel
A family of five wanted to expand their multi-generational home to accommodate large family gatherings and create a more private master suite. A few walls were removed to open up the dining area which now accommodates a full-sized ping-pong table for the traditional post-Thanksgiving family competition. A pair of sliding glass doors were added to provide more natural light and a stronger connection to the outdoor patio. The core living spaces of the house now frame the outdoor patio area activating the connection between inside and outside. A master suite addition was added at the rear of the house with private views of the backyard.
